The Folk Art Society of Nova Scotia was created by a group of like-minded folk art lovers, with the desire to share this uniquely Nova Scotian art form with generations to come.

Join us on Sunday, June 7th to learn more about our board members and their most cherished pieces of folk art that they will bring to show-and-tell. Please bring your own favorite pieces to share with us at this interactive, educational and mostly just fun gathering of folk art lovers.

If you have attended the Folk Art Festival held in August each year, you will be very aware of Barry and his love and gift of folk art. His art sells out in a number of minutes each festival year.

This was a wonderful opportunity to meet Barry and learn more about his passion for folk art. We’ll be posting the video of his presentation on our Youtube channel very soon!
